George E. Darmstadt, 81, a retired bank executive, died Friday in Addolorata Villa, Wheeling. A resident of Wheeling, Mr. Darmstadt was vice president and secretary of First Federal Savings and Loan in Des Plaines. He served in World War II and the Korean War as a captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He is survived by a brother and two sisters. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson St., Des Plaines.
