Joan Hardin, 61, an executive with Des Plaines-based Hardin Paving Co., died Friday in St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. She was born in Buffalo and lived in Park Ridge. Mrs. Hardin served on the board of the Chicago Boys Club and was director of the Chicago Women’s District Golf Association. Survivors include her husband, Oliver; three sons, George Dahlman, Jack Dahlman and Thomas Dahlman; a daughter, Mary Karagas; a sister; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Maryville Academy Chapel, River and Central Roads, Des Plaines.
