Many thanks to columnist John Kass for sharing his impressions of Vice President Al Gore with readers of the Tribune (Page 3, Oct. 7). I might add that Gore is quite a fitting sidekick to his boss, President Clinton. I have searched far and wide and did not find any core beliefs that this duo might hold dear. But I did find that they are very good at two things: shameless pandering and appropriation of someone else’s ideas.
