Carol J. Iverson, 60, a 30-year resident of Mt. Prospect, died Friday in her home. She was born in Chicago. She was a social studies teacher for 14 years at Lincoln Junior High School in Mt. Prospect and taught 23 years in Elementary School District 57. She is survived by a son, Robert A. Jr.; a daughter, Julia M. McCarthy; and three grandchildren. Mass will be said 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect.
