Jennifer Wadas, 17, 815 E. Oakton St., Des Plaines, was charged Friday with two counts of criminal damage to property and one count of retail theft following a series of spray painting incidents throughout town. Wadas allegedly stole spray paint from All The Makings, 1111 E. Oakton St., then spray-painted a parkway sign, a fire hydrant, a sidewalk and a car in various parts of town.
