Steve Mills (“Uncowed aldermen clear Mrs. O’Leary,.” Metro, Oct. 7) reports that a committee of the Chicago City Council has concluded that it wasn’t Mrs. Catherine O’Leary and her cow that were responsible for the Great Chicago Fire–instead it is alleged that “Peg Leg” Sullivan, a neighbor, was responsible.
Whatever, whomever–isn’t it a moo-ed question after 126 years?
