Edward Chan, 95, a longtime Chicago resident, died Thursday at Regency Nursing Centre in Niles. Mr. Chan was born in China and moved to Hong Kong, where he was in the export and import business. He later moved to Chicago, where he has lived for the past 21 years. Survivors include four sons, David, Gabriel, Lucas and Patrick; a daughter, Mary Troken; and 10 grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, 7033 N. Moselle Ave., Chicago.
