Two spec homes–the Winchester and Nottingham–are available for early delivery at Saddlewood in Wauconda, a community of 81 semi-custom single-family homes being developed by Saddlewood Associates.
The four-bedroom Winchester, which is available immediately, offers a brick front and sits on a quarter-acre lot. With 3,184 square feet, the Winchester includes a three-car garage and is priced from $318,200. The spec home contains almost $50,000 in upgrades and is being offered at $349,200. The Notthingham is scheduled to be available in December.

– A new design, The Milford, is now open as a decorated model at Haryan Farms in north suburban Grayslake.
Being developed by Kimball Hill Homes, the new section of Haryan Farms will include 30 single-family homes priced from $187,990 to $224,990.
The Milford is a two-story plan with 2,436 square feet. It includes three bedrooms with an optional loft or fourth bedroom, 2 1/2 baths, formal living room and adjoining dining room, first-floor den, family room, master bedroom suite, and attached two-car garage. It is priced from $210,990.

– Traditions, a semi-custom home builder, has opened its Carrington Hills model at The Reserve at the Wheatlands in Aurora.
Priced from $285,000, the 2,542-square-foot Carrington Hills offers four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-car garage and full basement. The model has been expanded to more than 3,000 square feet. It features a study and play or craft room on the second floor, a two-story family room with brick fireplace, and a den.
Amenities include nine-foot first-floor ceilings, central air conditioning, a whirlpool tub and glass shower with built-in seat in the master bath, and oak flooring in the foyer, kitchen, powder room and dinette.
The Carrington Hills is one of five decorated models at The Reserve, located at Eola Road and 87th Street. Homes at the community range from 2,000 to 3,500 square feet and are priced from $230,000.

– The Morgan model is opening for viewing Oct. 25 at Forest Trail in northwest suburban Lindenhurst.
Adjacent to McDonald Woods Forest Preserve, Forest Trail is being built by William Ryan Homes and will include 51 single-family homes on wooded lots that range from 12,000 to 25,000 square feet. The homes are priced from $206,990 to $279,990.
