Lois Lee Dedinsky, 80, a resident of Shorewood, Wis., died Oct. 12 in Vencor Hospital Lake Shore. A native of Chicago Heights, she grew up in Streator, Ottawa and Chicago, but spent most of her adult life in the Milwaukee area, where she worked as a legal secretary for the law firm of Morsell & Morsell and later as an administrative assistant for the Pfister Hotel. When she was in her early 20s, she was a member of a group of women who took turns playing orchestral music arranged for eight hands utilizing two grand pianos. “My mother as a pianist could sight-read anything and was known for her ability to play Mozart as well as the Beatles,” her daughter, Mary, said. “She was able to make each person feel good about him or herself.” Other survivors include a son, John. Mass was said in Milwaukee.
