Columnist Georgie Anne Geyer correctly identifies the reason why conservatives, despite recent victories, continue to lose power to the liberal Left (Op-Ed, Oct. 3).
But she fails to mention the greatest reason of all. And that’s the fact that the Democratic Party has quietly become the Socialist Party of America.
People who now think they’re voting for the party of such freedom-lovers as Roosevelt, Truman and Kennedy are actually electing acolytes of the all-benevolent, all-wise, all-powerful state.
