A public hearing is scheduled for this week on the proposed elimination of a Pace bus route between Forest Park and Lisle. Pace may discontinue Route 737, the West Suburban Limited, which operates between the Forest Park CTA station, located on the Blue Line, and progresses through Lisle on Warrenville Road before ending at Mill Road.

Lisle officials say the proposed elimination could hurt the efforts of businesses to recruit workers from the city.

The route offers three trips during morning and afternoon rush hours, but Pace officials say that the average number of daily riders has dropped to 42 from 57. Those who want to save the route have a chance to speak their minds at the public hearing.
