Bernard G. Hellgeth, 86, a retired Peoples Gas Co. employee, died Monday in Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Mr. Hellgeth, a lifelong Chicago resident, worked for Peoples Gas for 52 years. Mr. Hellgeth is survived by his wife, Lela; two daughters, Virginia Buyers and Mary Ann Rosienski; three sons, Thomas, Raymond and Richard; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Edward Church, 4350 W. Sunnyside St.
