Well, never is a long time, but the final performance of Page Hearn’s one-man Poe show, “Descent into the Maelstrom,” takes place Friday. Hearn weaves Edgar Allan Poe’s letters, journals and classic works together in his performance, which you can catch at 8 p.m. at the Prairie Avenue House Museums, 1800 S. Prairie Ave. Tickets are $16; $12 for museum members. Reservations are required. Call 312-326-1480.
