The Lakemoor Plan Commission and Village Board have approved the final plans for one more part of the Burnside/Lakemoor Farms subdivision.
The development, which will include 102 duplexes and 347 single-family homes, straddles Lake and McHenry counties. The section approved is in McHenry County. As part of the plans, Willow Road will be extended north into the new subdivision.
The plans are for a unit of Lakemoor Farms that will include 30 single-family lots on 14.65 acres, according to Burnside representative Joe Schiczewski.
Burnside does not have Illinois Department of Transportation approval for the right of way to extend Darrell Road north from Illinois Highway 120. Instead, developers want to extend Willow Road as access into the new section.
