David J. Allen, 89, a longtime pipefitter in the Oak Lawn area, died Wednesday. A native of Cincinnati, he spent most of his life in the Chicago area. Survivors include his wife, Muriel; a daughter, Nancy Lazinsky; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Raphael the Archangel Episcopal Church, 9701 S. 49th Ave. Oak Lawn.
