James C. Askwith, 52, a businessman in Lisle, died Wednesday in Edward Hospital in Naperville. Mr. Askwith was self-employed as a businessman in Lisle and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He helped coach basketball at St. Joan of Arc Junior High School, Lisle. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; four sons, Christopher, Brian, John and Gregory; a daughter, Joanna; his parents, Elmer and Claudine Askwith; three brothers; and a sister. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, Illinois Highway 53 and Short Street, Lisle. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joan of Arc Church, 1005 Division St., Lisle.
