Maynard “Speedy” Knutson, 59, of Woodstock, died Saturday at his home. He was an operator for the Elgin Augering Co. for more than 40 years and belonged to Woodstock Moose Lodge 1329 for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Carol; three sons, Clarence Rush, David, Troy; one daughter, Tina; 10 grandchildren, one brother, and one sister. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
