I read with interest your Page 1 story “2 women referees pioneer new era for NBA” (Oct 29).
Charles Barkley’s comment was especially interesting. He said, “I don’t think women should be in the Army, and I don’t think they should be NBA refs.”
I believe there was a time when it was felt that African-Americans should not play in the NBA. Isn’t change wonderful!
