Marcella E. Larsen, 81, of McHenry, died Sunday in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. A resident of McHenry for 50 years, Mrs. Larsen was a former circulation department employee for many years at what is now the Northwest Herald. She had attended elementary and high school in Harvard and moved to the Richmond area and worked for Barnard Mill. In the early 1940s, she moved to Wonder Lake and then to McHenry. She is survived by two daughters, Lillian Baumbeck and Carole; one son, Larry; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 3500 W. Washington St., McHenry.
