Frederick J. Clemens, 60, a retired letter carrier, died Monday in Chicago. Born in Des Plaines, he graduated from East Leyden High School in 1955, then served in the U.S. Air Force for four years as a weather observer. Mr. Clemens worked with the Postal Service for 35 years. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; four sons, Joseph, Paul, James and Patrick; a daughter, Annette; two sisters; and four grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Beatrice Catholic Church, 4157 N. Atlantic Ave., Schiller Park.
