Julia B. “Jewel” Streit, 86, a lifelong resident of Aurora, died Thursday in her home. Mrs. Streit was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and a former officer of the Marmion Mothers Club. She is survived by two sons, Edward and Thomas; a daughter, Judy Brussel; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Angels Church, North Lancaster and Hardin Avenues, Aurora.
