Susan Burge, 63, a soprano with the Chicago Symphony Chorus for 17 years, died Oct. 30. at home in Evanston. She had earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in music and another in counseling at Northwestern University. After teaching for six years, she had worked in several positions at the university during the last 29 years. She also had sung in the St. Matthew’s and the Alice Millar Chapel choirs. Survivors include a brother; and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Northwestern’s Alice Millar Chapel, 1870 Sheridan Rd., Evanston.
