John P. Yore, 36, a Chicago Fire Department paramedic for 11 years, died of cancer Monday in his Chicago home. Mr. Yore, a Chicago native, is survived by his mother, Mary E. Yore-Bartel; two sisters, Mary Pat Hamann and Peggy Lucas; two brothers, Thomas and Michael; and a companion, David Peck. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kenny Brothers funeral home, 3600 W. 95th St., Evergreen Park. Mass will be said at noon Thursday in St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 8200 S. Kostner Ave., Chicago.
