Concord Homes representatives Tuesday night presented revised plans for the Meadowbrook subdivision that include the donation of a 10-acre farm to the village.

John Green, project manager for Concord, presented revisions that eliminated 42 single-family houses originally planned and increased lot sizes for the project under construction west of Haligus Road.

However, the developer asked to build some multifamily units to compensate for the 10-acre farmstead.

Green also asked for relief from a village ordinance that requires builders to use concrete to separate units as a fire prevention measure.

Green vowed his company could build dwellings according to a performance standard that would still allow sufficient fire protection. That standard would save the company about $4,000 to $6,000 per unit.
