Ann Hyman Levin, 96, a longtime resident of the East Chicago area, died Oct. 29 in Manorcare Home in Denver. She was residing in that city and had also lived in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was known for her community involvement. She was on the boards and committees supporting Hadassah, B’nai B’rith Women, Technion and Brandeis Universities, the Jewish National Fund, the United Jewish Appeal, the American Cancer Society, St. Catherine’s Hospital and the American Heart Association. Survivors include a daughter, Shelle Weinstein; a son, Lawrence; a sister; a brother; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held.
