Florence E. Kalter, 87, of Prospect Heights died Monday in Plum Grove Nursing Home, Palatine. Mrs. Kalter was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Willard and Lawrence; one daughter, Gloria Shawke; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Services will begin at 9:15 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by mass at 10 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Liguori Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Heights.
