Harold S. Kelly, 75, of Palatine, formerly of Evanston, died Sunday in his home. Born in Tracy, Minn., Mr. Kelly grew up in Chicago. Mr. Kelly was a World War II veteran who served in the Marine Corps. He was a retired director of operations for the Education Foundation of the National Restaurant Association. Survivors include his wife, Pat; five sons, Michael, Charles, Kevin, Peter and Thomas; one daughter, Mary Ann; one sister, and seven grandchildren. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 1571 Maple Ave., Evanston, followed by mass in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 806 Ridge Ave., Evanston.
