Henry Hart “Skip” Johnson, 55, a longtime resident of Inverness, died Tuesday in his home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Johnson was a 25-year member of the Inverness Country Club. His career was in the metals industry, in which he founded and owned Hartland Cutting Tools Inc., Cary. Survivors include his daughter, Brenan Lea Polizzi; a son, Henry II; two sisters, and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, followed immediately by services.
