Christopher J. Spears Jr., a World War II Army veteran and a roofer for more than 50 years in the Chicago area, died Sunday at his home in Brighton Park. Born in Chicago, Mr. Spears also lived in Berwyn for a period of time. He is survived by two daughters, Catherine Crosby and Marie Rose; two sons, Christopher and Thomas; a brother; a sister; and eight grandchildren. Services were held Thursday.
