With welfare reform in place, the Naperville religious community is concerned that the truly needy will fall through the cracks and face crises without the resources to deal with them.
In an effort to help monitor and deal with those situations, the St. Elizabeth Seton Peace and Justice Committee invites community members to attend a “Welfare Watch” brainstorming session. The potential impact of welfare reform and developing the means to help those whose needs are going unaddressed will be explored.
