Patrick M. Gibbons, 56, a former stockbroker, died Thursday at his home in Hinsdale. Mr. Gibbons spent most of his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert in Chicago. He attended Loyola University Chicago and then entered the business by working as a clerk in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, said his son, Kevin Gibbons. He was born and raised in Chicago after his parents immigrated to the United States from Ireland in 1903. He maintained a lifelong interest in his Irish ancestry. Mr. Gibbons is survived by his wife, Mary Kay; a son, Kevin; two brothers, and a sister. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 W. 4th St. in Hinsdale.
