Donald E. Obenauf, 66, of Round Lake died Sunday in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. He was a truck driver for Skokie Valley Asphalt in Libertyville for more than 35 years before retiring in 1994. He was a corporal in the Army from 1949 to 1952. Survivors include his wife, Gloria; three daughters, Linda Proeber, Donna Stow and Diane Wendt; a son, Don; two stepdaughters, Cynthia Harris and Linda Freund; three stepsons, Kevin, Kelvin and Kerry; a sister; four brothers; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home, 1001 Main St., Richmond. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in United Methodist Church, 236 W. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake.
