James S. Chasteen, 70, of Glen Ellyn, a merchandiser with Sysco Food Services of Chicago, died Monday in Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. Mr. Chasteen had worked for Sysco since 1971. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Helen; three sons, Michael, Jeffrey and Robert; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn.
