Bob Streitmatter, 69, of Glenwood, who was a retired Greyhound bus driver, died Tuesday of heart failure in St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Chicago Heights. Born and raised in North Dakota, he moved to Glenwood more than 30 years ago. He was a Navy veteran and worked for the Greyhound Lines Inc. for 35 years. Most recently, he worked part-time for Bauer Buick in South Holland. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; four children, Bob, Dan, Doug and Lisa; two sisters; and a brother. Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Highway, Homewood, followed by mass at 10 a.m. in St. Kieran Catholic Church, 724 W. 195th St., Chicago Heights.
