Dianne Cox Bode, 63, of Montgomery, a longtime community activist, died Tuesday in Copley Memorial Hospital, Aurora. Mrs. Bode was a former associate executive director of the United Way of Aurora. She was recognized as the Outstanding Woman of the Year in 1978 by the YWCA. Survivors include a daughter, Renee King; her mother, Alice Shoger Cox; and a brother. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, followed by mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 620 5th Ave., Aurora.
