Verna G. Born, 96, of Carol Stream, formerly of Glen Ellyn, a homemaker, died Wednesday in Johnson Health Care Center, Carol Stream. Mrs. Born was active at Faith Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Stime; a son, Kenneth; 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, 41 N. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
