I’m curious why I haven’t seen anything in the papers about several incidents involving the Notre Dame football team.
When Notre Dame played at Stanford, the Stanford band did a program that was disrespectful and insulting to the pope and to Irish people in general. When Southern Cal came to Notre Dame, they tore up the visitors’ locker room. The upstanding gentlemen from the Naval Academy disrupted the Notre Dame band’s traditional postgame performance.
If Notre Dame had committed these acts, it would be front-page news.
