Eric Zorn’s Nov. 13 column “Give conservatives the same tolerance they give gays” (Metro) was hilarious. As a self-respecting, homosexual citizen, it is sometimes difficult to stomach right-wing speech that blatantly attacks my dignity and civil rights. I was amused in reading Zorn as he turned the same language back on those who helped create it.
His closing statement was a rib-tickler. “I endorse the right of conservative Republicans to marry one another and carry on as they will. Just don’t ask me to watch.” Ditto.
