A decorated display model is open at Park Pointe, a new nine-story condominium building slated to include 126 one- to three-bedroom units in Chicago’s River West neighborhood.
Priced at $162,900, the 985-square-foot model features a combined living and dining room area with gas fireplace, master bedroom with bay window, walk-in closet and bath, kitchen with breakfast bar, second full bath, den, laundry room, and private balcony.
The designs at Park Pointe range from 877 to 1,812 square feet and are priced from $129,900 to $333,900. All units include nine-foot ceilings, fireplaces, bay windows, balconies, and maple hardwood floors in entryways and kitchens. The building also offers 165 indoor parking spaces.

– The Iris ranch plan has been introduced at Citadel On The Rock Run, a community of 52 townhouses being developed in southwest suburban Joliet.
The 1,357-square-foot Iris is one of six ranch and two-story plans ranging from 1,294 to 1,689 square feet with two or three bedrooms and 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths. The homes are priced from $115,900 to $135,900.
The Iris, priced from $129,900, is an end ranch design featuring two bedrooms, two baths, an eat-in kitchen with breakfast nook, 12-foot ceiling in entry great room and two-car attached garage. The master bedroom includes a private bath and walk-in closet.
The townhouses are clustered in 13 buildings over 20 acres. The community has been certified as a “Backyard Wildlife Habitat” by the National Wildlife Federation with more than half of the site dedicated to open space and nature preserve areas of the Rock Run Preserve.
Standard features in all of the homes include nine-foot first-floor ceilings, ceramic entries, volume ceilings and two-story foyers per plan, wall-to-wall carpeting, wood decks or patios per plan, landscaping and asphalt driveways.

– The final phase of townhouse sales is under way at Gleneagle Farm in Carpentersville. The 23 new homes will be situated in clusters of three, five or six units.

– Preconstruction sales are under way at Fields of Bayberry, a 30-acre community planned for 84 single-family homes in far north suburban Waukegan adjoining the Bayberry townhouse community.
Four two-story floor plans range from 1,551 to 2,032 square feet and are priced from $159,900. They include three or four bedrooms and 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths. Lots will range from 7,203 to 12,481 square feet, with most of them measuring between 8,000 and 9,000 square feet.

– Sales are under way at Forestview, Hartz Construction’s semi-custom home community in southwest suburban Mokena.
Floor plans range from 2,450 to 3,300 square feet and are priced from $233,400 to $269,900.
One of the floor plans, which is available for viewing as a model, is the 2,800-square-foot Bradford. Priced from $269,900, the two-story design offers a three-car front- or side-load garage, a formal living room with bay windows, two-story family room with fireplace opening to an eat-in kitchen with center island and built-in desk. It also features a first-floor den and a master bedroom with a 14-foot-wide walk-in closet and bath with whirlpool tub, separate shower and double bowl vanity.
Forestview, located on the south side of LaPorte Road, two blocks west of LaGrange Road, is set along a forest preserve with stands of trees and protected wetlands.
