Thomas S. Arnold, 83, of Downers Grove, formerly of Oak Park, a retired sheet metal worker, died Saturday in Rest Haven West Nursing Home, Downers Grove. He was born in Ireland. Mr. Arnold was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local Union 73 for more than 50 years. He was a World War II veteran who served in the 592nd Amphibious Regiment. Survivors include three sisters. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the 1 p.m. service at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton.
