Harry D. Sher, 82, past president of the Chicago Hotel Association and a former vice president and treasurer of Mid-Continental Realty, died Sunday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Admitted to the Illinois Bar Association in 1939, Mr. Sher was chief operating head of Lake Shore Management Co. and served as officer and board member of Anshe Emet Day School and Anshe Emet Synagogue. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Salzman; a son, Jack; three brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge.
