John H. McGrath II, 70, died Saturday in his Barrington home. Mr. McGrath was a road construction superintendent for Arcole Midwest Corporation for 25 years. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Barrington Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Gesien ; two daughters, Katie and Colleen Boncosky; two sons, John and Michael; his mother, Kathryn; a brother and grandchildren. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 E. Ella St., Barrington. Mass will follow at 7 p.m. A second visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stirien-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., Barrington.
