I want to honor the efforts of the woman, Susan Lindholm, written about in “Angel won’t let slain boy be forgotten” (Page 1, Nov. 22). It is inspiring to me that Ms. Lindholm saw an injustice and acted to rectify it with determination and courage. That kind of intentional, decisive action is a model for myself and others to emulate.

I also want to commend the writing by Robert Kaiser. The piece was written in a quietly effective and thoughtfully observed manner that fit the subject well. Both the subject and the writer in this case showed rare gifts.
