Richard G. Boler, 72, of Lombard, a retired quality control inspector for Quasar-Monsanto Co., died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. Mr. Boler, who lived in Lombard for 35 years, retired in 1987 after working 38 years for Quasar-Monsanto Co. A graduate of Crane High School in Chicago, Mr. Boler was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite R.; a son, Thomas M.; a daughter, Patricia R. Doran; a sister; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Mass will said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 1501 S. Main St., Lombard.
