Rose Prominski, 96, of Palatine, died Wednesday at Care Center of Wauconda. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Prominski worked in the sewing industry and for an insurance company. Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Lewandowski and Alice Prom; one son, Daniel; one sister; one brother; three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Saturday prayer service in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 465 N. Benton St., Palatine.
