Walter “John” Hirschberg, 56, died Wednesday in his Wheaton home. Mr. Hirschberg graduated from DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. An avid gardener, he was a production inventory-control manager for Line Craft Tool Co. in Lombard. Survivors include his wife, Annette; two sons, Peter and Daniel; three daughters, Beth, Susan Scott and Ann Miller; a brother; and nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, followed by mass at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Catholic Church, 315 W. Illinois St., Wheaton.
