Barney Bakker, 85, of Des Plaines died Thursday in his home. He was born in Chicago and worked as a truck driver. Mr. Bakker is survived by his wife, Irene; a son, Gerald; a daughter, Marie Slinkman; three sisters; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Oehler Funeral Home Chapel, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
