Joyce C. Griffin, 58, a nurse for nearly 40 years, died Thursday in her Westmont home. Mrs. Griffin was a psychiatric nurse specializing in geriatrics at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. She belonged to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Downers Grove. Survivors include her husband, Dennis; three sons, David Meyer, Dean and Mark; two daughters, Lisa Dick and Gayle Jegglie; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St., Downers Grove. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 4501 Main St., Downers Grove.
