Edwin T. Tuszynski, 68, a retired Evanston police officer and former resident there, died Thursday in Conway, S.C., where he had lived for the last 10 years. Mr. Tuszynski was born in Chicago and raised his family in Evanston. He retired from the Evanston Police Department in 1979 after 29 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Dattomo, Chris Beattie and Teresa LaBar; a brother; and five grandchildren. Services will be in Conway.
