The Newberry Library will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Morton Arboretum with an exhibition of rare books and botanical prints spanning four centuries.

The exhibition also will include photographs, travel narratives, magazines, poetry and technical manuals. The exhibit, “From Forest to Park: America’s Heritage of Trees,” will be on display from Wednesday through March 14. It will begin with a preview and holiday party.

The Morton Arboretum is on 1,700 acres in Lisle.

Party: 6 p.m. Tuesday, The Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton St., Chicago. Admission to the preview is $25 in advance, $30 at the door ($5 less for library associates and arboretum members). For more information, call 312-255-3510.
